Every project starts with an initial enquiry. Each inquiry is completely different for example, some clients know exactly what their vision is in every detail, whilst others may prefer some guidance in achieving a design which maximises every potential of the desired space. The progress begins with correspondence via email or phone call where we will request a brief description of the project, images of the projects space along with some photos of their desired design, style and preferred finishes. This allows us to provide a guide price based on the information and align ourselves with customers expectations & budget.
After the initial enquiry at a suitable time for the customer, we would arrange a visit to site to formally introduce ourselves and present the detailed design visuals based on the images previously sent, along with samples of different products & finishes, paint colours and hardware. At this point we will discuss any design changes, layouts, storage options and hardware, also working with you through the process of value engineering to ensure you get the most from your projects budget. We will simultaneously conduct a thorough survey and inspection of the desired space which will be used for producing final design & manufacturing.
Using the information collected from the site visit, we will produce a final design set of 3D renders and 2D detailed production drawings along with the final fixed price and a estimated installation date and install duration. This would also be another opportunity for the client to make any final changes to the design or finishes before signing off & placing the order.
Once the final design has been signed off and the fixed price agreed, the customer will confirm and place the order by paying a deposit value & instructing us to proceed with the order of materials, fittings & finishes. As soon as the materials arrive from our suppliers we will begin production of your bespoke joinery items.
Our skilled & creative craftsman will begin to hand make your bespoke joinery items using traditional methods to the highest quality. We make our best efforts to have the majority of the work completed in a workshop before the installation stage to ensure that we spend as little time as possible on site with minimal disruption to our customers. We also welcome customers during this time to visit our workshop and see the care & attention being given to their bespoke joinery being made first hand.
We will attend site on the agreed day of installation. Our friendly skilled & qualified installers will prepare the space & assist with any moving of items. They will protect all existing floors, walls and structures and proceed to unload and install your bespoke joinery. Once the install is complete they will make sure the customer is totally satisfied and the space is returned to exactly how it was previously, without a trace left from the team.
Our values are important to us and we believe in total transparency which underpins every interaction with our clients & customers. MJS pride ourselves on our delivery of service which is seamless and clear so our clients can make fully informed decisions throughout the whole process.
