Drawings, RAMS and site documentation are provided as standard. Design consultations and quotations are free. There is no fixed price list, every project is priced individually because every project is made to measure. A deposit of 30–50% is taken depending on the size of the work. ### Materials for commercial environments Commercial joinery is specified around cleaning regimes and contact frequency. Surfaces that are wiped many times a day need finishes that will not dull or lift; edges at hip and hand height need solid protection rather than a thin edge band. Where food, drink or clinical cleaning is involved, we specify accordingly. Structural elements, counter frames, fixed seating carcasses, shelving spans, are built heavier than their domestic equivalents because the loading and the abuse are different. Hardware is chosen with cycle life in mind: a drawer opened forty times a day is a different specification from one opened twice. ### Methods, programme and site working We work from drawings where they exist and produce our own workshop drawings for approval where they do not. Final dimensions are verified on site after first fix, because a package manufactured to design drawings alone is the most common cause of joinery that does not fit. Our team works to agreed site hours, method statements and risk assessments, and coordinates with the other trades on the programme. Because our electrician is part of the same team, lit counters, powered shelving and integrated AV do not require a separate subcontractor to be scheduled in. ### Variations of the service Reception desks and counters.
